ST. TAMMANY PARISH RESIDENCE

New Construction, where the inspiration for the design of this masonry residence was the 1832 Hurst Plantation, in New Orleans. This replica home has a wraparound porch improving the passive cooling characteristics by blocking direct sunlight but allowing light and breezes to come through. The main building houses 6,500 square feet of living space.  The barn and garage take design cues from firehouse in Harper’s Ferry.
