MISSISSIPPI RESIDENCE # 2

This complex of buildings is located in a pine forest, on the edge of a lake that was created for the house. The house is designed in the style of Post-Colonial Louisiana and contains over 10,000 square feet on four levels.  The basement contains a garage and a darkroom and is connected by elevator to the upper floors, including extra bedrooms in the attic. The interior plan is generally symmetrical about a center hall and circular stair, and the vista through the front and rear doors terminates "enfilade" at the lake pavilion.
In addition to the main house, the complex includes the lake pavilion an adjacent boathouse as well as a swimming pool and  pool house.
