LA LOUISIANE RESTAURANT

Occupying 6,400 square feet of space in an historic building at 725 Iberville Street, La Louisiane Restaurant was completely renovated in two campaigns.  The initial work included changes to the street facade, an entirely new kitchen and service areas, and the rebuilding of the rear section of the first floor, which involved the creation of a small courtyard where none had existed before.  New mechanical and electrical services we added, and the bar and dining rooms were renovated.  The second phase of work was undertaken to make several architectural changes and to repair water damage which had resulted from broken pipes in the unoccupied floors above.
